Jeffery Ong
Founder
Jeffery Ong is a legacy dog trainer with over 30 years of experience working with dogs and families. Growing up surrounded by the world of canine training, he was deeply influenced by his father, Anthony Ong, a distinguished trainer for the Singapore Police Dog Unit. Jeffery’s childhood was spent alongside his father, immersing himself in the principles of dog training from an early age.
As a young teen, Jeffery began training dogs, eventually pursuing formal education in the field. In 2002, he graduated from National K9, a renowned dog training school in the United States. His passion for continuous professional development led him to specialize in remote collar training, completing the No Limitations Remote Collar Program(2004) and That’s My Dog E-cademy with Robin MacFarlane (2005). In 2006, he further honed his expertise by studying with dog ethology expert Maryna Ozuna. Jeffery is also a certified Canine Kinesthetic Practitioner.
Jeffery’s mission in life is to help individuals achieve success with their dogs by leveraging their unique strengths. His deep admiration for the human-dog bond inspired the creation of K9 World Academy, where he empowers dog owners to build stronger, more harmonious relationships with their pets.
In addition to his practical experience, Jeffery’s TOP 5 CliftonStrengths® are Developer, Learner, Arranger, Positivity, and Restorative—qualities that reflect his commitment to growth, problem-solving, and fostering a positive, supportive environment.
He is also a proud Professional Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals.
